PLATRONiC – synthfully elegant futurepop<\/h1>\n

Founded in 2020 by singer\/songwriter\/co-producer Kay Burden (Frankfurt a. M.) and composer and producer Some-E from Savonlinna.<\/p>\n

German melancholy met Finnish happiness.<\/p>\n

“It wasn’t planned, but suddenly we realised we had found our musical soulmate.”<\/p>\n

Since then a lot has happened to this distinctive duo heavily influenced by ABBA, Depeche Mode and VNV Nation.<\/p>\n

2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Their song DREAMS (Nature of Wires Remix) made it to #2 in the DAC – Deutsche Alternative Charts.<\/p>\n

PLATRONiC opened for the Swedish synthrock band PRIEST in Helsinki.<\/p>\n

Platronic was nominated for “Best Electro Act” for the second time (Radio Wigwam|UK)<\/p>\n

MEMORIES was chosen as of the Top 100 best synthpop songs 2023! (Synthpop Fanatic, Washington DC)<\/p>\n

…was 8 weeks in the Top 10 GEWC – German Electronic Music Webcharts and was added onto the official Spotify Suomi playlist.<\/p>\n

At the end of the year, PLATRONiC received special honours. Kay has been chosen as one of the “Best of 2024 – Female Voice” by personagrata radioshow, Greece. And the very different and melancholic ballad “Winter Stores<\/a>” surprisingly melted the hearts of the listeners of Radio Three (Poland) and made it into the Top Songs 2024 list of “Trust the Doc Show”, London.<\/p>\n

2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 21 March, Kay and Sami released their energetic future pop anthem “How to ride the Wave<\/a>“, which is already being celebrated as a “milestone” (Northern Art Music, Germany) in the dark wave and indie electronic scene.<\/p>\n

On the 24th of May they were supporting Red Cell in Link\u00f6ping. It was a very successful debut in Sweden!<\/p>\n

But what Kay and Sami really want is to make people dance, dream and think with their MUSIC THAT MAKES YOUR HEART BEAT FASTER!<\/p>\n
